In Path of Exile 2, a player paid €147 for an expensive edition. However, the rewards caused trouble not just once but twice.
What did the player buy? The user WorkLurkerThrowaway expressed his disappointment on Reddit. There, the long-time fan of Path of Exile shares his experience. Before the launch of Path of Exile 2, he purchased the “Vaal Supporter Thaumaturge” pack. It includes cosmetic items like skins and 1,600 points that can be used in the shop of Path of Exile 2.
The €147.85 pack also provides fans with a T-shirt as a physical item. The shirt featuring the Path of Exile 2 logo was supposed to be sent to buyers after the release. But when the fan received his shirt, he couldn’t believe his eyes.

Double Disappointment
Why was the player disappointed? When he unpacked the package with the T-shirt, he noticed that the logo on the shirt was printed crooked and not centered. The T-shirt did not meet the expected quality, and the long-time fan was dissatisfied.
User WorkLurkerThrowaway contacted support and finally received a response after several months of waiting. Customer support sent a second T-shirt, which the fan also received.
However, the quality of the second T-shirt was only slightly better, not perfect. The logo on the second shirt was still crooked and not centered. A disappointment for the fan:
I don’t even know if I’m interested enough to open another ticket. That’s quite annoying. As for me, this is the last time I’ve spent money on another supporter pack, and I probably won’t do it for a while.

How does the community react to the post? The community agrees with the user that the quality is unacceptable. User ryo3000 asks in his comment on Reddit: “Oh, wow, those are terrible… Is this an officially recommended product?” Additionally, he found a shirt with the same logo from a vendor that sells it for €26, but it’s not an official product.
User Xilarch also shares about his shirt on Reddit: “I just checked my shirt because I hadn’t unpacked it yet. The logo is maybe half a cm to the right and about 2 degrees tilted, so definitely not noticeable unless you’re looking for it, and the print feels solid. Maybe they have several printing companies depending on the region? That seems like a high variance for a single printing company.”
For the long-time fan of Path of Exile, this experience is disappointing. Even though support wanted to assist with a follow-up shipment, the second shirt also fails to satisfy the user.
