In Albion Online, a player worked hard to rise through the ranks of a guild and was promoted to officer. Then he suddenly robs the guild and leaves. In his farewell, he even thanks them for the wonderful events they had together but admits that the heist was planned for a long time.
What happened? User Vocandin reports on reddit about a nasty act in which the guild Fricks in the MMORPG Albion Online was robbed. Specifically, they lost items worth more than 1 billion silver, the in-game currency of the game.
This theft seems to have been a long-planned operation, as the player Huhfesstus, who robbed them, revealed in a Discord message to the guild.
There are also said to be other “rats” in the alliance who helped him rise to this position in the guild.

What does the message say? In the message, Huhfesstus reveals that he had a great time in the guild Fricks, which is part of the alliance CLAP. Unfortunately, however, everything in the game revolves around politics, and players can be easily influenced.
He is aware that this theft makes him a target, but for him, it was absolutely worth it. The CLAP alliance is said to have made many enemies, and many would be willing to pay to harm the alliance. A lot is expected to change for the alliance in the future.
At the end of his message, he emphasizes again that he had a lot of fun in the guild and will never forget some events. But “good spies take the long road, earn trust, and then rob everything.”
How is the action being received? On reddit, several users report that Huhfesstus recently lost his expensive mammoth (a mount) and was also not allowed to participate in ZvZ (Zerg vs Zerg / PvP events in Albion). They do not see it as a long-planned action, but rather as that of an “egoistic child” seeking revenge.
The player faced several consequences from the theft. He is already banned from the “Official Hardcore Expedition Discord server” (via reddit). There are over 10,000 players who organize themselves and trade in groups there.
Even though the heist has nothing to do with Discord, Huhfesstus attempted to sell the stolen items there. The Discord organizers did not tolerate this.
He is also said to have applied to other large guilds that have rejected him. However, another guild is said to have accepted him so that he gets a “3-day cooldown” (via reddit). Users say that this means he cannot join a new guild for some time.

Who did the player steal from? The guild Fricks is known for helping new and inexperienced players. Internally, they have a system where officers are elected.
Some users now suspect that the player Huhfesstus bought votes. This would also align with his statement that there are “more rats” in the alliance.
On reddit, a player who is said to have just switched from EVE Online to the MMORPG commented. He says he feels right at home. In the space MMO, political intrigues have always played an important role. Currently, however, everything is overshadowed by a war that has already cost more than $112,000.
