In Diablo Immortal, everything revolves around the next drop that elevates your build to a new level. But how well can Legendary and set pieces be found in dungeons? A player ran over 200 dungeons and noted the odds. We present his results on MeinMMO.
A player of Diablo Immortal has recorded his loot odds during dungeon runs over two weeks and shared his results on the discussion platform reddit (via reddit.com). After around 200 runs, the user “Competitive_Wear3354” calculated the following odds:
- Loot Odds: Hell II Dungeons
- Legendaries: about 2%
- Set pieces: about 15%
Competitive_Wear3354 explains that dungeons are not particularly suitable for Legendaries. Instead, look for farm spots in the open world, even if some have been nerfed or are overcrowded.
Legendary gems also help with your build. More about the controversial items in the video:
How did the numbers come about? Competitive_Wear3354 ran over 200 dungeons in two weeks, noted all his loot successes, and converted them into odds.
He was able to gather some experiences:
- In the various dungeons he ran, there was no significant difference in drop rates.
- Competitive_Wear3354 says it’s more dependent on the “daily form.” Sometimes he found a set piece in 20% of the dungeons in a day, sometimes only in 10%.
- He could not identify a loot cap that reduces the odds of set pieces or Legendaries.
Overall, he recorded about 800 drops of magical items during his 200 runs, averaging 4 per dungeon. About every 50 dungeons yielded a Legendary, and around every 7 dungeons a set piece.
What should you farm in dungeons? Definitely not Legendaries. Dungeons are quite okay for gold and experience points. But they are almost only worth it for set pieces.
Sets give you strong effects, and the more you wear from a set, the better bonuses you receive. You could specifically run certain dungeons to hunt for the pieces.
Where to find the individual set pieces and what they can do, you can find in our extensive set overview for Diablo Immortal.
Whether the odds change if you run the dungeons on other difficulty levels cannot be inferred from the statistics of Competitive_Wear3354.
But the average value gives a good impression of how often set pieces and Legendaries drop in dungeons.
