The MMORPG Tibia is one of the oldest MMORPGs and also originates from Germany. Now a player has reached level 2000. In total, only 16 players have reached this level along with him.
In Tibia, there is now another person who has reached level 2,000. Our colleagues from MMORPG.org.pl are pretty sure that it must be a Polish compatriot, as the name of the character and the guild affiliation suggest.
Thus, “Blizu” is the 16th player to reach level 2,000. In Europe, he is even only the 4th person, as all the others likely come from South American countries. The 17th person is currently at level 1903 and will need a little longer to break the magical mark as well.
The German Tibia offers eternal progress and no limits
What is special about level 2,000? In the MMORPG Tibia, there is no level cap, like in WoW. Theoretically, you can level up for as long as you want, without the game having an end. However, the further you progress, the more experience points you need for the next level. To reach level 1,500, a player needed about 13 years.
Moreover, dying in the game is expensive, as you lose valuable experience points and also level tiers. A player exploited this and let himself die 300 times to achieve a success. He put weeks of grinding at risk with it.
Tibia is still actively played today: Tibia has been around since 1997 and is still played by a loyal community today. The game relies on 2D graphics, and although it may not be one of the prettiest games today, thousands of players log in daily. Therefore, the developers are still diligently providing updates for the German MMORPG. Just recently, players discovered a secret boss after 12 years that no one had ever found. And it is precisely because of such small details that Tibia continues to enjoy many fans.
Especially in South America, particularly in Brazil, everyone knows the game Tibia. That’s also why you find among the 16 players almost exclusively individuals from South America.
