“Never leave your stuff unattended” – That is the lesson a player learned after he left Diablo 4 open on his PC. His little daughter apparently had fun entering names and ended up deleting all the characters in the process. But there are good prospects, even in many ways.
This happened to the player: Often it can be quite cute or even educational to watch your children play. A legendary developer, for instance, watched his son run up a mountain aimlessly countless times – and drew conclusions for development from it.
Something different happened to the Diablo player Scelusteach, who shares his story on Reddit. He writes that he came into the room just in time to see his little daughter delete his last character in Diablo 4.
Scelusteach had just reached level 60 with his seasonal character but says: “I can’t be mad at her. She’s autistic and doesn’t know what she did, except that she entered a few names and saw characters disappear.”
Will he get the characters back? The user actually just wanted to vent a little, but he is getting help directly from the community. The top response says that he should simply be able to restore the characters.
This even works automatically with a button, but actually only for the most recently deleted character. However, other users add: In exceptional cases, support can also restore more characters, even if the help page states otherwise.
One person explains: A friend’s son did something similar and the support restored all deleted characters. But even if that doesn’t work, there are great offers for help from other players.
“I can boost you and have stuff if you need anything”
In the current Season 7, you can level up in no time, although only with some preparation. However, one user offers to boost the creator. In 15 to 20 minutes, he should have a new character at the maximum level.
He can even provide some equipment: “I have a few items for sorcerers, druids, necromancers, and hunters, just in case you need something.”
More users jump in and offer their help as well. One can even drop by on short notice and help out or contribute a few items. The thread creator has already responded and said that he would gladly accept the offers once he is back home. Unfortunately, we do not yet know how it all turned out in the end.
It is surprising that Diablo 4 has somehow turned into a kind of family game that parents play with their children – especially since the game is rated for ages 16 and up in Germany. However, for some parents, the team spirit and love for games apparently count: Gamer mom convinces her children to play Diablo 4 with her: “I want them to love Diablo as much as I do”
