The most action in Diablo 4 takes place in the endgame. Accordingly, players want to reach the maximum level 60 as quickly as possible. In Season 7, this can be done particularly quickly, namely in just a few seconds. However, it requires some preparation.
How does the fast leveling work?
- Opening reward chests of the Whispering Tree grants you a big boost of experience every time. The XP lies around on the ground as golden orbs.
- The method is already older; wudijo reached level 60 within 7 minutes in Season 6.
- Now, in Season 7, it’s even faster. A user on Reddit shows a clip in which he goes from level 1 to 60 in just a few seconds. And the new season is perfect for this.
Is the method worth it? Definitely, but the shown minute is a bit misleading. First, all the chests need to be collected. This takes, according to users, about two and a half hours.
Nevertheless, the method is extremely worthwhile because you get gear with item level 750 or even 800 right away. Enough to – depending on the class – start immediately with Torment 4. And in Season 7, you’ll be farming the chests constantly anyway.
The Whispering Tree is the central element of the season and the new head hunts that are already well received provide you with plenty of Gruesome Gifts. The user explains that he was farming anyway to reach the last two levels of the Witch’s Call. But remember, increase your chances for Great Chests in the Battle Pass with Ash.
Starting from February 4th, you can even save more time. With patch 2.1.1, more ravens are coming to the head hunts, so you won’t have to travel far to hand in your Gruesome Gifts.
“I haven’t attacked even once until level 60”
Whoever does not want to grind first with a character at maximum level can level up enormously fast at the moment even without the chests. In the thread on Reddit, players talk about taking about half an hour to reach max level.
The reason for this is the new witch powers from Season 7. They are account-bound, leveling for each character and not individually. Powers like the Aura of Drain at level 20 ensure that characters at low levels can simply run through masses of enemies and kill them without ever having to attack.

However, you also have to invest a lot of time here to even get to the leveled powers. Additionally, you miss out on the legendaries and, with luck, mythical items that can drop from the chests with this method.
For many players, fast leveling of second characters is a welcome feature in Season 7. Replaying a character once per season is enough for them.
