In Path of Exile 2, trading is a topic that repeatedly stirs emotions. A player has now invented a tool that reveals the true value of found items to everyone. However, one day after its release, it was banned.
What can the tool do? The “Path of Exile 2” player micahriggan wanted to do the community a favor and designed a program called Poe2Stash, which allows anyone to quickly and easily check the prices of found items.
Instead of painstakingly checking each item individually, you can simply put all the found items into a stash box using the new tool and get prices for each item.
This could significantly optimize the gameplay flow, as you can now farm, transfer all loot to the stash, and continue playing directly while the app handles price comparisons in the background. The effort for manual price checks is completely eliminated.
But the tool offers even more functions:
- Filtering all items in the stash by specific keywords (e.g. “movement speed”)
- Automatic synchronization of all account items
- Calculation of currency earned per hour
- Extraction of trade requests with direct price checking
Here you can watch the teaser trailer for the new update of Path of Exile 2:
Banned after just one day
What’s the deal with the ban? Poe2Stash was only live for a day, and then the program stopped working. On Reddit, several users complained about error messages, but these apparently had nothing to do with the program itself.
As the Poe2Stash developer micahriggan announced on Reddit, his program was banned by Grinding Gear Games. He was not given a specific reason. The only information he has is an error message: “Banned; this tool does not comply with our third-party guidelines”.
The developer, who seemingly only wanted to do a favor for the community, is now asking for help to figure out what changes are necessary for his program to remain usable. Whether the program will ever be usable again remains to be seen. If that happens, you will find out with us.
Trading in Path of Exile 2 continues to annoy many new players. The lack of an auction house, trade bots, and numerous scams consistently lead to frustration. No changes to the trading system have been announced even for the big update “Hunt of the Dawn”. However, a new class might be appearing: Players of Path of Exile 2 believe a new weapon has revealed the next class
