A tragic story is currently touching the community of Elden Ring. Two Souls fans are looking forward to the new game from FromSoftware, but one dies before the release. His best friend therefore pays him a very special honor in the game.

With much attention, support, and composure, the fans of Elden Ring are reacting to the story of user TheUncannyJones and his best friend, Jason.
TheUncannyJones is a big fan of the Soulsborne games, thanks to his friend Jason. Both players were correspondingly excited about the release of Elden Ring, but Jason died shortly before the release.
To honor Jason one last time, TheUncannyJones remembers his deceased best friend in a very special and touching way.

Because his best friend can unfortunately no longer explore the game world of Elden Ring himself, TheUncannyJones found another way.
He created his game character in the image of the deceased Soulsborne fan, naming him Jason of Lordran. Thus, the character is a lord from the world of Dark Souls, with which both players apparently share a lot.
Now, Jason of Lordran can also explore the great and impressive game world of Elden Ring.

Memories of the deceased friend motivated the player at the Tree Sentinel
Because the community understands well how Souls fans think, another reddit user wrote in the comments: “The guy is probably looking down from above and laughing at you for getting destroyed by the bosses so often.”
TheUncannyJones agrees. He said that during the difficult boss Tree Sentinel, which streamers have struggled with, he could almost hear the mocking motivating words of his deceased friend.
It was definitely a deciding factor in why I needed 27 attempts to kill the Tree Sentinel. After I saw how little damage I dealt, I thought: “This boss is probably meant for later…” and then I heard him call me a wimp.

From this, the player apparently drew the necessary strength to defeat this tough opponent. Because on the 27th attempt, the Tree Sentinel fell to the blade of Jason of Lordran.
Neither the player nor Jason of Lordran should have major issues with this special dynamic in this game that is actually quite hard.
