During a livestream on Twitch, a teammate of the CS:GO team suddenly has to stop. He screams “FUCK” – A car crashed into his front door.
What happened during the livestream? The CS:GO team of streamer Birdehbox was playing a competitive match on the map Overpass. Using the spectator feature, the streamer was observing his still-living teammates. Among them was Stattik, who suddenly stopped and aimed his AK at a pillar after a loud crashing noise was heard over his microphone.
In voice chat, his team asked “Stattik?” but he didn’t respond. The team lost the round and then paused the match.
The team was left confused, hearing a “FUCK”. One player asks, “Did he [Stattik] scream that?” Another replies, “Yeah, I’m pretty sure. I’ve never heard him scream like that. Did his mouse break or something?”
Then they speculated that perhaps one of his pets did something, causing the player to quickly leave the PC.
Now, you can hear Stattik’s voice repeatedly screaming “Fuck”. Upset, he speaks into the microphone, “Hey, I have to go. Someone just drove their car into my damn house and destroyed my door.”
The team asks in chorus, “What?” and is visibly astonished, hardly able to believe it. “No joke, guys. I’ll send you pictures of it later,” Stattik explains and leaves the PC.
This 14-year-old was swatted during the stream while playing Fortnite.
What does the house look like now? The clip of the incident was shared on Reddit, and shortly thereafter Stattik published a picture of his entrance area, which was severely damaged by the accident.
How did the accident happen? The driver reportedly told Stattik that his brakes failed, causing him to drive into the house. A police patrol happened to be patrolling in the area, and they witnessed the accident. The driver was immediately arrested.
According to Stattik, the driver did not have a valid driver’s license and was not the registered owner of the vehicle.
It seems that nobody was physically harmed in the accident. “My dogs were sitting on the couch. They were very scared; I’ve never seen them so frightened,” explains Stattik.
