There are some achievements in World of Warcraft that remain extremely difficult to obtain even after all these years. It is all the more rewarding when the grind pays off after all this time, and you reach your goal.
What kind of achievement is this? On Reddit, ShizunEnjoyer proudly reports that he has been working toward the achievement “100 exalted factions” since the WoW expansion Legion. On November 5, 2024, he finally reached the goal and earned the title “High Exalted” along with the mount Pureheart Courser.
With each expansion that comes for World of Warcraft, it becomes easier to master this achievement – as new factions are introduced that can be elevated to Exalted. However, there are still relatively few Azeroth heroes who have fully dedicated themselves to the reputation grind over the years.

Hard-earned mount
How demanding is the achievement? In our special on the hardest achievements in WoW, “100 exalted factions” ranked second at the time, just ahead of “On the Edge of Madness” and “Achieving 250,000 honorable kills”.
The reason for this is quickly explained: For many factions, a long grind is expected to reach the Exalted rank. Achieving this with 100 communities means that you must engage with very different content, such as PvP, dungeons, raids, or dailies.
How many players have been able to obtain this achievement so far is unclear due to the lack of official statistics from Blizzard. However, according to a brief overview of the Pureheart Courser on wowhead.com, only 5 percent of profiles have the mount in their collection. Furthermore, there are ongoing discussions about how demanding the achievement is, such as here on Reddit.
How does the community react to the post? Many players celebrate ShizunEnjoyer’s achievement, with more than 3,000 upvotes and over 125 comments. For some WoW fans, it has even prompted them to check how far they are from 100 factions.
