Borderlands 3 offers you four playable classes. One character seems to be falling behind – the Agent Zane. He is said to be too weak, especially regarding the endgame. A fan has tested his skills and identified bugs as the cause.
What’s wrong with Zane: The Agent Zane sparks discussions in the Borderlands 3 community. He is incredibly fun but is too weak for the endgame. The Zane fan u/Inforgreen3 took the time to test every single skill of the class.
His alarming results have been posted on Reddit. Zane is full of bugs, and his skills work poorly or not at all. It’s no wonder he can’t keep up with the other three classes, the Beastmaster FL4K, the Siren Amara, and the Gunner Moze. His list is long, but we’ve compiled some highlights for you here.
A Bag Full of Bugs
These skills are, according to u/Inforgreen3, affected by bugs:
- Double Time should give you and your clone 20% more weapon damage, but it only affects your clone.
- Praemunitus only increases your magazine, not that of your clone.
- Schadenfreude should grant you shields for damage to your clone, but apparently has no effect.
- Bang and Better does not give your clone a higher health.
- Barrier – free for all does not work with other shield effects.
- Digital Distribution gives you fewer health points if your clone’s health is low. Furthermore, for some reason, it damages your clone through the shield.
- Sovereign and Skilled only increases your gun damage to 10% instead of 20%.
- Hold On and Scrap Weapon Belt have problems with reducing elemental damage.
- Brutal Momentum does not increase your damage while moving as much as it should.
- Sleeping Pills should actually scale. However, your drone’s radiation is always stuck at 2 damage points.
