The Galar birds in Pokémon GO are considered extremely rare and difficult to catch. A player has now managed to find and catch one. But the surprise is huge when he catches it.
The Galar birds have been tormenting players in Pokemon Go for some time. Because supposedly they have an extremely low catch rate and almost always flee immediately. This makes these creatures a real challenge, as one needs to have double luck: First, one must find such a bird and then one must also succeed in catching it – unless one uses the Master Ball to catch it, which many recommend.
A player has now succeeded in catching such a bird. But he was quite astonished, as the Galar bird was not a Galar bird at all.
A completely different Pokémon is hiding behind Zapdos
What was the surprise? On reddit, a player posted a picture of the catch. At first glance, he had actually found and successfully caught a Zapdos. But after the catch, the caught Zapdos transformed into a Zorua.
The special thing about Zorua is that its true form is hidden. It appears as a completely different Pokémon and reveals its true form only when it is caught or attacked. And that exactly happened to the player who was hoping for a Zapdos.
The player writes about it: “My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.”
It could have been worse: If he had thrown his valuable Master Ball, he would have caught the Zapdos immediately, only to find out that he wasted the ball on a Zorua.
