Path of Exile 2 offers a massive number of items that fans can find. Some of them are rarer than others. Now, a player has found one of the probably rarest items, and even veterans are astonished.
Which item is this about? It is the Mirror of Kalandra, one of the probably rarest items from Path of Exile 1 & 2. There is a good reason why this item is so rare – it can duplicate any item, including: Orbs, weapons & armor, materials, and much more.
Usually, the mirror, when it drops, is used to duplicate the best God-Rolls. When used, the item is consumed. A player has now managed to obtain the item after 73 hours of gameplay and reports on their find.
Item is so rare that fans don’t even know it
What do fans say about the find? The player terrorbalded reports on Reddit about their find. They invested 73 hours of gameplay and obtained the mirror just 5 minutes after the drop of a Divine Orb. Fans celebrate the find and joke about its rarity. Among them are also players who see the item for the first time and did not know what it could do until today. The following voices can be heard:
- “I think it’s great that you obviously didn’t feel comfortable taking the screenshot before you picked it up AND stored it safely.” – PapaBurgundaddy
- “The cartel is already tracking your location, pack up and move, lol” – Effective-Bother-671
- “I think this is the first mirror drop post I’ve seen in this subreddit since 0.2 came out.” – tddahl
- “I have so much bad luck that I don’t even know what the mirror does, lol” – Lancehardwood14
- “And you will most likely never see a mirror drop. I have 1,500 hours in PoE 1 and 2 combined. I have never seen a drop.” – radoss72
- “1,500 hours? […] I have never seen a mirror drop, 5k hours here.” – Rumiraj
Anyone clicking through the comments will quickly realize how rare the mirror is, and rightly so. Such an item has true power and can be especially valuable for players who want to perfect their build.
How much is a Mirror of Kalandra sold for? Since the item is very rare and players usually hold on to their find rather than selling it, there are few to no trade posts on Path of Exile 2. Only one is available, and it is listed for 3,000 Divine Orbs – but it is not in the league.
Even in the current league, drops of Divine Orbs are rare. If one wants to obtain 3,000, they would either have to trade for a long time or farm even longer. For many, the Mirror of Kalandra will remain a dream, unless GGG changes their drop rates. Good that Patch 0.2.0g is coming soon: Path of Exile 2 will soon bring more loot into the game, but the community does not find that sufficient
