In Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4 & Xbox One) you can not only stand out grandiosly with the new Valentine’s skins. You can also disguise yourself as a harmless statue if your opponent isn’t paying attention.
Fortnite: Battle Royale regularly gets new skins added. Especially for holidays like Christmas, Halloween, or Valentine’s Day, there are special outfits and skins that make your battle royale heroes even more impressive in battle.
Normally, the special skins are particularly striking and outlandish, but in one case, exactly the opposite was true!
Brightly Colored Skins for Valentine’s Day
In the current Valentine’s offer, there are two outrageously expensive legendary skins. The “Chief Cuddle Officer” is a scruffy pink teddy bear and the “Love Ranger” is a kind of living statue of a martial god of love.
With his pink pants, a toga, and wings(!), this skin should also be quite visible. But apparently, some players expect exactly such “decorations” in cemeteries in the colorful Fortnite world. Otherwise, the following situation cannot be explained.
“Oops, the statue just headshot me!”
On Reddit, there is a video showing a player with the Love Ranger skin climbing onto a pillar in a cemetery in Fortnite. He sits there like a statue and does nothing. Suddenly, another player comes running towards the pillar.

However, the player with the skin remains calm and does nothing. And indeed, his sneaky plan works. The other player actually sees him as a soulless and lifeless piece of decoration and takes cover right in front of the pillar to enjoy a potion.
The “statue player” does not miss the opportunity, aims with the gun, and spectacularly takes out the opponent with a precise double headshot. The video is titled on Reddit “The Proof of Why Fortnite Is Pay2Win”, but that’s probably not meant seriously.
Outside of this bizarre situation, with the 20 euro skin, one should be rather better recognized than worse.
