Many players in Elden Ring: Nightreign have their favorite method of fighting through enemies and bosses. Some have their favorite weapons, others prefer magic, but there is another inconspicuous thing that can even bring the greatest boss to their knees.
What is this little bell? We are talking about the “Wraith Calling Bell”, which can be obtained during a run in Elden Ring: Nightreign. The bell can summon a small, ghostly projectile that targets an enemy and then slowly flies behind them until it hits. The damage is magical and requires only a little FP for the summoning.
The projectiles fly quite slowly, but they chase the opponent until they reach their target. Additionally, you can ring the bell over and over again, even if the previous projectile has not yet arrived. This way, you can send a real parade of flying ghosts at an opponent with continuous ringing, which also deals significant damage.
It sounds quite simple, but a player proved that with the “Bell Strategy”, you can even defeat the final boss in Nightreign without using any other form of damage.

How did the player use the “Bell Strategy”? The player and YouTuber “Syrobe” demonstrated in a video how he completed a solo run with Recluse and “armed” with the bell to defeat the final boss of the game – and that during his first attempt with this strategy.
He shows how powerful the bell can actually be. The bell does not depend on the stats or level of a character, but reliably deals the same damage. Nevertheless, the bell is particularly strong in combination with Recluse’s ultimate ability. The bell requires so little FP that the ultimate restores more FP than the bell actually needs.
In the fight against the boss, he reached level 14 and was able to defeat Heolstor with good timing, dodging, and a lot of pling-plong: “The real main boss of Nightreign, defeated with nothing but a small Wraith Calling Bell. What a way to go.” (Syrobe via YouTube)

How to obtain the Wraith Calling Bell? The bell can be found randomly at various gravesites on the map.
There is also a relic that allows you to start every run with the Wraith Calling Bell, but Syrobe advises against it. The bell is not particularly rare and you might want to save the slot for another relic to avoid wasting buffs.
As the bell is common in Nightreign, any player could test for themselves how they like the strategy. Since it does not scale with any skills, you can also use the bell outside of the optimized strategy with Recluse and it provides a good alternative for a ranged attack when focusing more on melee.
