A player buys a gaming PC that he acquired at an auction. After all, he only paid 20 US dollars (about 18 euros) with an RTX 4090 and an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X.
Why did the PC cost only 18 euros? The computer was severely damaged during transport at that time, and the damages can clearly be seen in the pictures:
- The PC was completely soaked due to poor storage.
- A pin on the graphics card near the PCIe connector is broken. It is not known if there are further damages.
- The PCIe connector on the motherboard is badly bent and is likely no longer usable.
Some are also wondering why the graphics card was already firmly mounted. Some PC manufacturers are now cautious enough to ship the graphics card in a separate box to protect it from transport damage. Do not accept damaged packages
