What is the worst card? The grass-type Pokémon Caterpie is considered one of the worst cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Its only attack “Finding Friends” is not an attack against the opponent, but merely a way for the player to draw a Pokémon card from the deck.
While Caterpie can evolve into Metapod and then into Butterfree to attack, the basic Pokémon has no real chance on its own.

What was the player’s goal? Jumbunckley did not intend to win, but wanted, as stated by the attack of Caterpie, to find friends. He did this by encountering another player who chose not to attack.
The other player did have a Gengar deck that had enough energy to attack, but chose not to.
