Fortnite has a large collection of emotes that is expanded with each season. However, some are considered so unfair that they are labeled as Pay2Win and even adjusted by Epic Games. A player has now discovered a new emote that allows you to dodge bullets.
What is this emote? This is the emote “Board Flair” from the icons series of “Chloe Kim”. When using the emote, your skin performs a backflip with the snowboard and then poses with a peace sign towards the spectators.
A player, however, published a clip on reddit where he accidentally used the emote in combat. This not only secured him an “Epic Victory,” but also allowed him to show off.
Dodge with cool moves and win
The reddit user Ryzii_Mode-_- published his video and asked the community whether the item shop sells emotes that do not provide in-game advantages. We have embedded his cool moves here:
The absurd thing is that the winner of the round did not intentionally use the emote. He accidentally stumbled upon the gesture selection in the heat of battle and chose his lifesaving moves from Chloe Kim.
What does the community say? Players on reddit are going crazy and cannot believe the insane stunt Ryzii_Mode-_- pulled off. They joke about the fight with comments like:
- He then stopped playing the game and got back to his homework – Wabi-Sabibitch
- Holy crap that was so sick and it’s even better that it happened by accident – Huqs
- That was the most disrespectful thing I have ever seen in this game – Quantum_Helix
Have there been other incidents? This emote is not the only one that allows you to dodge bullets or gain an advantage in combat. In Chapter 1, Epic offered the emote “Deep Dab” for purchase.
Many players use this emote to dodge bullets while confusing and retaliating against opponents. After this incident, Epic introduced an emote cooldown that prevents you from immediately striking back after a gesture.
But also in Chapter 3 Season 1, many use Spider-Man’s gesture to cling to ceilings, luring unsuspecting opponents into ambushes. This, however, was not nerfed and is still circulating.
