You have always wanted to try PS Plus or are interested in the games in the subscription? Starting tomorrow, you can try PS Plus for free for a few days.
What kind of action is this? From January 12 to February 14, you can use the multiplayer for free on the PS4 and PS5. Normally, you have to pay for the multiplayer on PlayStation, and you need PS Plus for that. Only for a handful of titles do you not need PS Plus for the multiplayer on PS4 and PS5
During the promotion, you can play the multiplayer mode Call of Duty: Vanguard for free on PS4 or PS5 and currently do not need a subscription for that.
What is PS Plus? PS Plus is a subscription service for the PS4 and PS5. You need PS Plus if you want to play many games online. In addition to the multiplayer, you get 3 free games every month that you can play for free with an active subscription.
Normally, you pay 60 euros a year for PS Plus
If you want to subscribe to PS Plus, you usually pay 59.99 € for a 12-month subscription. However, there are also sales where you can get the subscription cheaper.
As a subscription user, you also receive 2 selected free games for the PlayStation 4 every month and a free title for the PS5. The PS4 games can all be easily played on Sony’s latest console generation using the backward compatibility feature of the PS5.
The games are then available for certain periods as a digital download in the PS Store and do not cost you anything extra (besides the regular subscription fees). Currently, these are:
- EA Sports UFC 4
- Planet Coaster: Console Edition
- Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure – for PS5
