When will FIFA 21 be released? FIFA 21 officially releases on Friday, October 09, 2020, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, there are various ways to play the game before the official release of the standard version. We show you the options here in an overview.
Play FIFA 21 first – with EA Play
When does FIFA 21 start on EA Play? Those who are members of EA Play can play FIFA 21 starting October 01. This gives EA Play members the chance to start 8 days before the release.
EA Play members get access to a 10-hour early access trial version of FIFA 21. After the 10 hours are up, players can continue playing at the official release. All progress will carry over to the full version. EA Play is available on PS4, Xbox One, Origin, and Steam.
An alternative is the premium service EA Play Pro. There, the early access games are usually available indefinitely and not just limited to 10 hours. However, EA Play Pro is currently only available through Origin and thus not an option for console players. EA Play will soon also be included in Xbox Game Pass.

Early access to FIFA 21 – with Champions and Ultimate Edition
How to get FIFA 21 three days early: The second option to play FIFA 21 earlier is the Champions and Ultimate Edition of FIFA 21. Both versions are more expensive than the standard edition but offer 3 days of early access. They start on October 06 and are fully playable then.

What about the FIFA 21 demo?
When does the FIFA 21 demo come out? This year, there will actually be no demo for FIFA 21. As a result, the options mentioned above are currently the only ways to play FIFA 21 early.
A trial version is currently only available as part of an EA Play membership – although it is not a demo, but rather early access. Some fans were very surprised about the missing FIFA 21 demo.
