In the MMO shooter Planetside 2 , a fan not only found hidden assets but also made a trailer out of them.
Planetside 2 has with ShaqL one of the most eager dataminers in the gaming community, who was also briefly active in H1Z1. He has now looked at the data volume in Planetside 2 and found a number of new “assets,” that is, models, and packed them into a trailer:
From the developer’s side, it is said that the models shown here should not be expected too soon. These are hidden files, could be prototypes, and as long as none of them are listed on the roadmap, everything is still uncertain.
At the moment, things are relatively quiet around Planetside 2 since its launch on the Playstation 4. However, a big patch, a kind of “re-launch” is planned for September.
