Blizzard has published its plan for the in-house event BlizzConline. We at MeinMMO will reveal to you when which content can be admired.
On February 19th and 20th, BlizzConline 2021 will take place. The event will be completely streamed live and can be followed this year at no additional cost.
So far, we knew the general topics and the respective start times of the livestreams. Now Blizzard has released the plans for their livestreams.
There will be plenty regarding the games WoW, Hearthstone, Diablo, and even a Behind the Scenes of Overwatch 2 to see. It is already known, however, that Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 will no longer be released in 2021.
BlizzConline – All Livestream Slots and Highlights
What are the highlights? The first highlight of BlizzConline is likely to be the opening ceremony. This will take place on Friday at 11:00 PM our time on all 6 Blizzard channels.
Immediately afterward, the interesting “What’s Next” panels will be held. There will be discussions about the future of the respective games. However, they will take place simultaneously:
- WoW What’s Next: At 12:10 AM our time on Blizzard’s official channel and the WoW channel. Right after that, there will be a “Deep Dive” into WoW on the corresponding channel.
- Diablo: What’s Next: Also at 12:10 AM our time on the Diablo channel and repeated from 12:40 AM on Blizzard’s official channel. Additionally, the Developer Roundtable afterward and the Deep Dive from 2:00 AM are expected to be exciting.
- Hearthstone fans can also follow the Deep Dive for the game starting at 12:10 AM on the corresponding channel.
What else happens on Saturday morning?
- On the Overwatch channel, you can admire a Behind the Scenes of Overwatch 2 and an event for “Voices of Overwatch”.
- On the StarCraft channel, a Legends tournament will take place, featuring pros from StarCraft 1 and 2.
- Also, there will be a small tournament for Hearthstone starting at 12:55 AM, focusing on the special game mode “Battlegrounds”, which is inspired by Auto Chess.
Q&A, Community Events, and More on Saturday Evening and Sunday Morning
How does it continue on the “next day”? The second wave of livestreams will begin for us on Saturday evening:
- From 9:00 PM, there will be a Q&A for the games WoW, Hearthstone, and Diablo.
- From 10:00 PM, there will be a large Community Showcase that will be broadcast on all 6 channels.
- Following that, starting at 11:00 PM, there will be “BlizzCon Presents: A Critical Role Diablo Campaign” on the official Blizzard channel. For fans of the other games, there will be insights into the work of artists, workshops, tournaments, and community events.
