With PixArk fans of the survival MMORPG Ark can expect a novel gaming experience that brings a bit of Minecraft feeling.
Snail Games stated at the announcement that PixArk is heavily inspired by Ark: Survival Evolved. You find yourself in a pixel world full of dinosaurs that you can tame, build a base, and explore many biomes where you complete randomly generated quests.

Ark and Pixel, does it work?
With PixArk, you can expect an interesting gaming experience in a special guise:
- Single Player and Online Multiplayer modes
- Multiplayer is initially available only in the Steam version and will be added to the Xbox One version in about two weeks
- Gather resources, craft items, and build bases
- Tame, train, and ride more than 100 dinosaurs and other creatures
- Character development and customization
- Procedurally generated worlds, where none are the same
- Creative mode lets you create anything you can imagine
- Over eight biomes like deserts, jungles, caves, and more
- Procedurally generated quests offer you many activities
