The athlete Kasumi was reintroduced into the world of Phantom Thieves in Persona 5 Royal. It has now been confirmed: she is also part of Tactica. The latest gameplay trailer announces the DLC for Persona 5 Tactica and brings another fan-favorite into the game alongside Kasumi.
The trailer announces the DLC “Heart Transformation Challenge Pack”, which will be available right at release and will cost you about 20 euros more. Especially fans of Persona 5 Royal will be pleased with this DLC. As the trailer reveals, it brings back two well-known characters into the group of Phantom Thieves.

Kasumi Yoshizawa, whom you could meet for the first time in Persona 5 Royal, will also stand by Joker in this spin-off. To what extent she will join the group this time is still unclear.
The second fan favorite that will appear in Persona 5 Tactica is the young detective and brief antagonist of the Phantom Thieves, Goro Akechi. Whether this means that Akechi survived his sacrifice in the main game or whether the spin-off is completely unrelated to the original story is still unclear.
It is also not clear whether the two characters will only appear within the DLC or will also contribute to the main story.
In addition to the two new companions, the DLC also brings you a new story part, along with an artistic opponent. The street painter Guernica is becoming increasingly well-known and the number of her artworks depicting Joker’s persona Arsène is rising.

The Phantom Thieves end up in an unknown realm after a strange incident, where a tyrant rules over its inhabitants. Soon the protagonist Joker, with his friends, is surrounded by the military group “Legionnaires”.
They are in grave danger when the mysterious Erina comes to their aid. In return, the stranger makes the Phantom Thieves an enticing offer.
When will it be released? Persona 5 Tactica plus DLC will be released on November 17, 2023, for PS4/5, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
