Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has to deal with a lot of criticism about 2 weeks after its release, especially the technical aspect is under fire from all sides. But there are also balancing issues, as the perk “Overlook” proves – it creates a reconnaissance drone firework.
The situation of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is a bit mysterious two weeks after the release. You can have really great evenings without any errors and a lot of fun. Or you get unlucky and end up in one of the 3 circles of Warzone hell:
- Broken server with lags
- One game crash after another
- Hackers are flying around in boats
Currently, there is a lot of criticism surrounding the new Battle Royale – partly justified, partly exaggerated. But there is no doubt that those responsible still have a lot of work ahead of them. This also applies to the balancing in the game.

CoD Warzone 2: Overlook causes drone fireworks
What is the problem? With the ultimate perk Overlook, you enhance your mini-map and see a larger section of the map. Additionally, enemy pings on the map are more precise, showing you the direction of the enemies.

Every time an enemy launches a reconnaissance drone, the drone also works for players who have selected Overlook as the ultimate perk. “Ghost” is not the optimal help against it.
The term “ultimate” currently fits no Warzone perk as well as it does for Overlook.
Is it intentional? Currently, players are discussing whether this is a bug. As soon as big YouTubers like jackfrags report on such things, they are considered “tips”. His video alone has been clicked about 130,000 times within the first 10 hours after release.
The developers have not yet responded to this. However, a nerf is to be expected, currently it seems that the perk is a bit too strong.
