The Free2Play game Rise of the Archons received a huge update, which almost represents a fresh start.
What can you expect in the game? Rise of the Archons is a remake of the classic Legends of Mir, which started in its third version in 2004. The remake is based on this game but now offers several innovations with a huge update. You still create a hero from the eight classes Barbarian, Pyromancer, Necromancer, Monk, Assassin, Hunter, Mystic, Stormcaller, with which you explore the world from an isometric perspective and fight monsters in hack ‘n’ slash battles.
You can team up with other players, complete quests, and look for better gear to upgrade your hero.

What’s new? Rise of the Archons offers some revamps of the game and also new elements. These include:
- New dungeon level 64: Lost World
- Complete review and update of monsters and bosses
- Faster leveling, as you earn more EXP
- Destruction measurement – Double loot, gold, and magical items

- Increased spawns for super and champion monsters
- Many more updates

Who is Rise of the Archons for? The MMORPG has been around for several years. When Legends of Mir 3 was released, it was in 2004. Graphically, it resembles Ultima Online or Lineage 1. Therefore, you should not expect high-end graphics.
Furthermore, the gameplay is rather laid-back. Despite hack-and-slash battles, there is no stress involved. There is plenty to do and explore.
