The creative minds of a marketing agency have created a concept vehicle in collaboration with a manufacturer of PC components, based on a stylish case.
The brand HYTE provides gamers with a wide selection of various products for building tidy and aesthetically pleasing computers. As a lifestyle-centered brand, HYTE aims to meet the needs of gamers by releasing products that set no limits on the PC-building adventure.
A real eye-catcher
Which case was the basis for the concept? With the ‘HYTE Y40’, an innovative design was chosen. A two-part panoramic window made of tempered glass allows a clear view of the hardware installed inside from multiple angles.
The case also offers enough space for several large fans and, if needed, ample room to install a bulky water cooling system. High-end graphics cards up to a maximum length of 422 mm are no problem for the ‘Y40’ and can also be mounted vertically if desired.
How did HYTE proceed? To make itself known as a brand and especially to introduce the case to a larger number of potential buyers, HYTE opted for a partnership with a marketing agency. The chosen agency, Bold, focuses on creatively and uniquely showcasing the products and brands of other companies.
This collaboration led to the concept idea for the ‘Y40 Mobile’.
Gaming on wheels
What was the result of the collaboration? The final marketing product is an 8-second video showcasing a case on wheels with front and rear headlights. A moving case the size of a bus is already quite spectacular in itself. But the creators did not hold back from filling the interior with plenty of life.
How is the HYTE Mobile equipped? The interior construction starts rather unremarkably on the lower level, with two front seats and a steering wheel along with the driver. The colorful RGB fans known from many gaming PCs are, of course, a must. Three specimens on the ceiling, one model at the back, and the glowing manufacturer logo in place of a motherboard provide ample light inside.
Can you game on the go? The highlight is definitely on the upper level. Climbing the stairs, a gamer sits at a desk with a monitor. He is, of course, gaming with a computer in the Y40 case. Mobile gaming has never been so stylish. As if that weren’t enough, a person dances to loud electronic beats on each level.
Successful marketing
How is the advertising received? This idea and its implementation have garnered great admiration and much praise from Reddit users.
There were also disappointed comments when it became clear that this is not a real vehicle. The video is entirely computer-generated and was created using various graphics programs and tools.
Some users express excitement in the comments:
- “When you think you’ve seen it all … “
- “Finally, a PC you can literally race with.”
Another user expresses concern about the two-part glass front:
- “Good thing the roads aren’t paved with ceramic tiles.”
What do you think about the implementation of this marketing idea? Brilliant or disappointing because the vehicle doesn’t exist in reality?
