The PC version of Monster Hunter: World is getting another event. The collaboration event with Mega Man will launch online this week on October 19th.
What is the reward? As a reward for the event quest “Rush’s Bloodlust”, you will receive armor for your Palico that makes it look like Mega Man from the popular game series by Capcom. The armor remains faithfully pixelated, just like in the early 80s.
The armor also has the additional effect of playing the old chiptune music from the Mega Man soundtrack. The music played depends on which weapon your character currently has equipped. However, this feature is unfortunately only active during the event quest itself.
What are the conditions for the Mega Man quest “Rush’s Bloodlust”?: To accept and successfully complete the event quest, the following conditions must be met.
- Difficulty: 7 stars
- Task: Hunt two Odogaron
- Location: Arena
- Hunter Rank: 13+ – How to increase your Hunter Rank
- Fail Conditions: Time expired (50 min.) or fainted 3 times

How to get the Mega Man armor
How can you forge the Mega Man armor? Once you have completed the event quest “Rush’s Bloodlust”, you will receive special Mega Man tickets. These unlock the set for your Palico in the forge. It is random how many tickets you get per quest, but you will need a total of 5.
With 5 Mega Man tickets, you will be able to craft the complete Mega Man set and the corresponding weapon. No other materials are necessary.
What are the status values of the armor? The armor is characterized by its elemental values, which are as follows:
- Defense: 351
- Fire: 6
- Water: 6
- Thunder: 6
- Ice: 6
- Dragon: 6
The Mega Man weapon has these values:
- Rarity: 6
- Attack: 40 (ranged and melee)
- Attack Type: Blunt
- Element: None
- Affinity: 0%
Event Quest for Crown Hunters
If you are a trophy hunter looking for crown monsters, then the event quest “Rush’s Bloodlust” is a good opportunity to hunt the small Odogaron. A small gold crown Odogaron will appear in the quest 100% of the time.
You need to be careful that Odogaron does not catch you with its claws. The wounds cause severe bleeding. You can counter this by either eating meat or crouching for a short time to recover.
