In Path of Exile 2, a player has created a bow that can do something no other bow can.
What kind of bow is this? On Reddit, the user “ThePlotTwisterr—-” shared their bow with the community. The “Foe Rain Expert Dualstring Bow”, roughly translated as “Enemy Rain Expert Dual String Bow”, has a feature that likely no other weapon in Path of Exile 2 possesses. It can fire 5 arrows at once.
With this ability, it is likely alone in the game, and even Robin Hood might find himself facing competition.

Why is this something special? In Path of Exile 2, it is particularly difficult to enchant equipment with desired modifiers. Much depends on the player’s luck, as values are rolled randomly. The bow reminds players in the comments on Reddit of “Robin Hood: Men in Tights”, where many arrows are also fired simultaneously with a bow.
A Robin Hood bow is an example of how well a random roll can work if you’re lucky. The bow has two modifiers that allow it to fire an additional arrow each and a modifier that allows it to fire two more projectiles.
Together with the standard shot, this results in five arrows per attack. But that’s not all: Through the Ascendancy, specifically the subclass “Sniper,” one can fire one more arrow per shot. Additionally, with the support gem “Scattershot,” two more projectiles can be released with every attack.
How does one get such a bow? The player crafted the bow by corrupting it with a Vaal Orb. With this, anything can happen to the item, for example, modifiers can be added or removed. Crafting with Vaal Orbs is risky, and there is a high chance of obtaining unwanted values. Once used, the item cannot be enchanted again.
