Official Patch Notes for Update 0.1.0e
General Improvements and Changes
- The ability to quickly travel between checkpoints within an area has been added. You can now select checkpoints, which opens your map overview. This allows you to select other discovered checkpoints in the area and travel there instantly. Many more checkpoints have been added to the areas, typically at all entrances and exits of locations. If you find these first, you can instantly travel there if you decide to explore an area further.
- Resetting passive points has been made cheaper, especially at higher levels. Previously, there was a relatively aggressive cost curve that got more expensive with character level. We have flattened this curve so that it no longer increases exponentially. For example, this should generally lead to about 40–50% lower gold costs if you want to respec in early to mid endgame progression.
- A shortcut has been added to open an extended information display for skills by right-clicking on the skill in your skill bar.
- It is now possible to compare equipped flasks when using a gamepad.
- Chance shards have been added to the currency exchange.
- A button has been added to travel to your guild hideout when interacting with the waypoint.

Endgame and Monster Balance
- Maps no longer apply additional inherent elemental resistance penalty values automatically on tier 6 and tier 11 or higher maps. The value is now uniform throughout the endgame and corresponds to what was previously the case at tier 1.
- Critical strikes from monsters now deal 40% less bonus damage.
- Chaos damage scales less aggressively across the endgame.
- The ground laser and ground lightning abilities of the runed knight in expedition encounters now deal significantly less damage.
- The waystone modifier that adds burning ground to maps does not increase in coverage or area with higher tier waystones.
- The “siphons flask charges” modifier on monsters now draws ten times fewer flask charges per second (this was unintentional).
- The “volatile crystals” modifier has been disabled to be revised in the future once the telegraphing improvements are completed.
- The “trail of fire” modifier on monsters now deals 30% less damage and lasts 3 seconds (previously 5 seconds).
- The “trail of lightning” modifier on monsters now lasts 4 seconds (previously 8 seconds).
- The “trail of ice” modifier on monsters now lasts 4 seconds (previously 8 seconds).
- The purple explosives spawned by the volatile plants modifier on rare monsters now deal significantly less damage.
- Packs of prowling chimerals in maps now contain fewer prowling chimerals and spawn together with zombies.
- The baseline monster density in breach encounters has been reduced, mainly through the decrease of the frequency of “elite” monsters.
- An inconsistency issue regarding the different types of packs that could spawn in breach encounters has been fixed. You should now see a greater variety of monsters in different areas.
- The volatiles spawned by the volatile fiends: trial of chaos modifier now accelerate over time.
- The stormcaller runes: trial of chaos modifier is now smaller, charges slower while you’re standing in it, and gives more time to escape once triggered. The runes also now grow larger as the modifier is upgraded.
- The hitboxes for several abilities of Blackjaw, the remnant, have been improved.
- The crossbow variants of the decrepit mercenary monsters that dealt fire damage now deal less damage.

Trial of the Sekhamas Improvements
- Honor damage now scales based on the distance to enemies. You now take up to 35% less honor damage when you are in melee range, with this protection decreasing the further you move away from the monsters.
- Errors have been corrected that caused damage over time in the trial of the sekhamas to deal three times as much damage to honor as intended and the honor resistance was only applied to two-thirds of this damage. (This was also confusing for us.)
- Skitter golems no longer perform basic attacks but now just explode, as their melee attacks were largely unavoidable.
- The grave and ambush attacks of the snake clan now have improved visual announcements and can no longer be used from such a great distance.
- Vulcans created by the crack blow of rattlecage now last only half as long.
- A keyword hover for the honor mechanism in trial of the sekhamas has been added.
