On December 6, the action RPG Path of Exile 2 will enter Early Access. However, it comes at a cost. We would like to know from you: Will you pay for access or wait for the free release?
What do we know about Early Access? The Early Access of Path of Exile starts right on Saint Nicholas Day, which is December 6, 2024, at 8:00 PM in Germany.
At the beginning, six out of the final twelve playable classes will be available to you: Warrior, Sorceress, Witch, Ranger, Mercenary, and Monk. With these, you can play through three acts of the campaign.
By the time of the full release, Path of Exile 2 is supposed to be free-to-play. However, to gain early access, you need to give the developer some money.
Start Early Access for a fee or wait for the full release?
What does Early Access cost? To gain early access, you need to purchase one of six possible packages. The more expensive the package, the more in-game goodies and currency are included. The three most expensive bundles also come with physical items.
Here’s how the packages are structured:
- Early Access Supporter – €30
- Lord of Ogham Supporter – €60
- King of the Faridun Supporter – €100
- Thaumaturge of the Vaal Supporter – €160
- Warlord of the Karui Supporter – €240
- Liberator of Wraeclast Supporter – €480
According to the official website of Path of Exile 2, you should also be able to upgrade from a cheaper package to a more expensive one at any time during Early Access. We have also broken down how the packages differ in content.
We would now like to know if you will pay for Early Access and if so, which supporter package you are considering. Feel free to let us know in the comments why you chose a package or perhaps do not want to pay for it at all.
