How are the developers reacting? The new season of Last Epoch starts on April 2, 2025, just 2 days before Path of Exile 2. To explain what new content players can look forward to, Last Epoch developers Mike Weicker and Karv “Karvarousku” answered questions from ARPG content creator GhazzyTV in an interview on YouTube.
Right at the start of the two-hour Q&A session, the host addressed the two developers about the elephant in the room, the scheduling conflict with Path of Exile 2.
Developer Mike Weicker said: “We are just as disappointed as everyone else, and we are currently focusing on our second season and building the hype and excitement for what we will be releasing, that is now our major focus.”
Also, “Last Epoch” developer Karv “Karvarousku” commented: “We have good stuff, so it’s worth looking forward to, but yes, disappointed, but well.”
Will there be a release delay? In the interview, the two developers did not announce any delay to their release. Instead, they spoke extensively about the new features of Last Epoch and heavily promoted their own ARPG. Even on the website LastEpoch.com, the countdown still points to April 2, 2025.
