New competition for Diablo 4
What do I need to know about Path of Exile 2? The hack&slash adventure from Grinding Gear Games is the sequel to Path of Exile from 2013 and was first introduced in November 2015. It was originally stated that there would be a beta for everyone in June 2024. However, this plan has been scrapped.
The monetization of the free2play game is said to be as fair as in the first part, with an in-game shop for cosmetic offers and conveniences such as more inventory space.
The developers promise a story campaign for part 2 that should keep you on your toes for about 40 to 50 hours. You can expect a significantly revamped combat experience, plenty of freedom in building your builds, and the exciting choice of twelve character classes. In addition, there will be deep equipment and skill systems and a fresh endgame experience.
What’s next for gamescom? At the Opening Night Live of gamescom 2024, more exciting trailers and announcements are expected. In the coming days, the fair in Cologne will take place, where there will be plenty of booths to discover. It will be an exciting week for everyone making their way to gamescom. But also for those watching at home, as there will be more streams—such as the FYNG show by GameStar, GamePro, and MeinMMO.
