That Argus will become the new Tanaan Jungle with the release of Patch 7.3 in World of Warcraft: Legion is the concern of many players. However, the now confirmed flight ban is more reminiscent of the Timeless Isle. Instead, there are teleporters and speed bonuses.
As most players are currently earning their first class mounts or perhaps even those for every alt, it is clear that you will not be able to fly in Argus in Patch 7.3. Unlike previous patches, the Broken Shore, or the Tanaan Jungle, there are currently no plans to be able to unlock flying through quests or achievements.

More MoP, less WoD
Argus therefore seems to be heading more towards the Timeless Isle from Mists of Pandaria. To make traveling in the new areas of Krokuun, the Antoran Wastes, and Mac’Aree more pleasant, you will receive a bonus to ground mount speed.
To receive the speed bonus, the achievement “Explore Argus” must be completed. The achievement behaves similarly to previous Pathfinder achievements, with the difference that currently there is no flying license at the end. In itself, the achievement does not take long, as only 14 areas need to be discovered. However, this is hindered by the “Time-Gating”: Blizzard will open the Antoran Wastes only in the third week of the patch.
The exact amount of this bonus is still unknown. If we assume the achievement “Pathfinder of the Broken Isles,” the speed will increase by 20% and be subject to the same restrictions. This means: It will stack with the class bonuses of Death Knights and Paladins (“Death’s Steed” or “Heart of the Crusader”), but not with the guild ability “Mount Up.”

Scotty, beam me … there!
During these three weeks, you will have the opportunity to unlock transporters that are meant to make traveling even more pleasant. These are spread throughout the areas, somewhat similar to the flight points that Hunters can unlock through the “Eagle Allies” ability of their class hall. However, there is no flight time incurred between them. How effective these teleporters will prove to be and how long it will take to unlock them remains to be seen.
What is your opinion? Has the compromise succeeded or should flying be available?
