The participants of Season 3 of “7 vs Wild” and close friends, Trymacs and Rumathra, clashed at Trymacs’ last event, resulting in a public confrontation. After the incident, both Twitch streamers released statements on YouTube explaining the reasons for their early departure from the event.
This is the situation: Long-time friends and Twitch streamers Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler and Wieland “Rumathra” Welte are a well-rehearsed team and often appear together at events, including in Season 3 of the survival show “7 vs. Wild“.
Although participant Jens “Knossi” Knossalla predicted a higher chance for both to survive the two weeks in the wilderness due to their long friendship – after all, they would do everything together, even sleep in one bed – there are now doubts about the assumption that everything is going great between them.
The reason for this is that Rumathra left his friend Trymacs’ event after just about 2 days. In a separate statement, he explained that Trymacs “just really fucked him off.”
The controversy reaches a new turning point, as Twitch streamer Staiy, known for his reactions to controversial topics and opinions, is now speaking critically about this statement.
Basically, the event was supposed to revolve around Minecraft:
Why did Rumathra leave the event early? The streamer described in a statement how things were during the event: He had to be very quiet, had slept poorly, and there were too many rules.
Rumathra also reported that he was constantly being picked on. Although he made it clear that he didn’t like it, his friend continued.
Despite everything, the streamer emphasized that he was not angry at Trymacs. After all, he had known beforehand what his streaming colleague was like and that he could not change him. However, he does not want to participate in such events anymore.
“Trymacs is disgusted by vegetables. How can Trymacs bully someone?”
How does Staiy react to the clip? Amid the ongoing controversy between Twitch streamers Trymacs and Rumathra, opinion blogger Staiy has now also voiced his clear opinion on the matter.
When the opinion streamer heard the allegations that Trymacs had supposedly “bullied” his participants, he was horrified. He emphasized his astonishment that Trymacs could bully someone: “Trymacs bullied someone? Dude, Trymacs is disgusted by vegetables. How the hell? How can Trymacs bully someone?” he asks.
Staiy quickly changed his mind when he saw in a video how Trymacs was recruiting new participants for the ongoing event while Rumathra was packing his things next to him. Staiy critically commented on this action: “Keep your feet still! Holy Shit, this backstabbing influencer scene.”
The opinion streamer advised Rumathra to show backbone and never speak to his colleague again.
What does Staiy say about Rumathra’s statement? In Rumathra’s statement, he emphasized that he has built a larger reach and a stable income through his reactions to “Rosins Restaurants” and should not have to tolerate such actions anymore.
Staiy compared the situation to a freed house-elf named Dobby from the “Harry Potter” series.
“I reacted freely with Rosin,” sounds a bit like Dobby has been given a sock. Dobby had to serve his master Trymacs Malfoy in servitude at the events and is now finally a free elf. Old Rumathra, I don’t know you, but maybe you should befriend the Potters and not that damn Malfoy.
What does Staiy say about Trymacs’ statement? Trymacs admitted in his statement that his behavior was inappropriate but pointed out that Rumathra also had a share in the escalation.
Staiy responded that Rumathra appears to really be a “free elf” now and drew parallels to a toxic relationship.
He emphasized that you cannot choose your family, but you can choose your friends. The opinion streamer underscored that he has the freedom to consciously grant his time and criticized the kind of situations where someone would be humiliated for content.
Many viewers draw a connection to Chefstrobel, another Twitch streamer who is also considered a friend of Trymacs. Despite their friendship, Trymacs often joked about his buddy in clips. Recently, he expressed in an emotional livestream how much the ongoing negativity burdens him: Twitch streamer is fed up with being the fool: Somehow it’s Trymacs’ fault
