Epic Games helps MOBA newcomers and addresses a commonly criticized issue in Paragon.
Interactive Tutorial
Another Tuesday means another update in the open beta MOBA Paragon. This time, Epic Games tackles a frequently raised issue in the game: the often criticized lack of knowledge among many MOBA newcomers. With its refreshingly different presentation, perspective, and not least the release of the game on the PS4 console, the still-in-development Paragon attracts not only MOBA veterans.
To provide genre-unfamiliar players with an easier entry and to introduce them specifically to Paragon, an interactive tutorial is being introduced with update v.33.0, in which various objectives must be completed. This aims to ensure that fewer players enter their first matches without equipping cards or throw in the towel and leave the ongoing game.
Skins Everywhere
In addition to some minor technical improvements and bug fixes, there are also new skins for Fey, Khaimera, and Gideon. The first two are T1 skins. However, the muscle-bound wizard Gideon has been given a T3 skin that reveals his inner self. It seems something went terribly wrong with his Halloween costume preparations as a pirate captain.
As is common with higher category skins, not only does his appearance change, but so do the visuals of his abilities to match the theme. Additionally, the second week of the Shadow Night Event runs until Monday, October 24th. Here, you can win three more skins as long as your Twitch account is linked to your Epic account and you either watch Paragon streamers or stream your MOBA skills to the world via Twitch.
