Epic Games, which develops the online action game Paragon, has announced the opening of a new office in Berlin.
With the new office, the developer studio aims to further expand its global reach and provide better support for players in Russia and Europe.
Players from Europe are to be better supported
“The best way to be there for our players is to be present on-site,” says Epic Games President Paul Meegan. “Our European and Russian community is very important to us, and opening our office in Berlin is the first step to ensure that players have fun with our games from day one.”
Responsible for the new Epic Games office in Berlin are Paw Larsen, Director of Publishing for Western Europe, and Sergey Galyonkin, Director of Publishing for Eastern Europe. Both intend to leverage their experiences gained at Riot Games and Wargaming.net to initially bring Paragon closer to players in Europe and Russia, and also to support other upcoming games from Epic Games.
