On March 29, an event by Red Bull took place in Cologne. The Twitch streamer Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller won the “Jump and Run” with his team, triumphing with a peak of 71,000 viewers on Twitch. The finale took an unfortunate turn: musician Joey Kelly accidentally injured Sebastian “Rewinside” Meyer, who was neck and neck with Papaplatte.
What kind of event was it? 4 teams with 4 influencers each competed against each other on Saturday evening in a hall in Cologne. Red Bull had created some elaborate obstacle courses that the influencers had to tackle.
The event was staged similarly to a full-length Pro-7 show, complete with hosts, off-screen commentators, and an audience in the hall.
The ending dragged on a bit and had a strange and unfortunate twist. The concept of the final game did not seem fully thought out. With musician Joey Kelly, Red Bull introduced a surprising end boss into the game, who significantly interfered in the finale of the multi-hour show.

Why was the ending so strange? In the end, the 4 team captains had to run over an obstacle course in the water. Their team members were positioned at the edge and could throw various items at the opposing participants, which they could purchase in an “item shop” with previously earned coins.
The strange idea, however: musician Joey Kelly stood at the last obstacle as the “end boss” and was supposed to hinder the participants further.
This was the result: Participants NoWay and Amar both had problems with the first obstacles and fell behind, while Rewinside and Papaplatte navigated the obstacles well. Rewinside had already impressed with a similar course prior and looked like the clear favorite. Papaplatte kept up well.
Both arrived at the final obstacle almost simultaneously. Joey Kelly alternately blocked both by hitting their upper bodies and heads with a blue foam bag.
But just as Kelly was focusing on Rewinside, Papaplatte was able to throw himself forward with all his might, get past Joey Kelly unscathed, and win the event.

Here is the bitter aftertaste: Joey Kelly sadly caught Rewinside on the temple and he had to go to the hospital with a concussion, as seen on YouTube.
The influencer reported on Instagram: Everything is “fine” again, he can see normally again, and the dizziness is subsiding too.
Papaplatte triumphs clearly on Twitch

- Amar reached 6,814 viewers.
- At Rewinside, a peak of 4,500 viewers tuned in.
In such influencer events, injuries among participants often occur.
