2018 was a productive year for the development studio Visonary Realms and the MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. The team has now given a brief outlook on what is being worked on in 2019.
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is slowly progressing in development. The studio does not want to rush anything, as they believe that the launch of an MMORPG is crucial for its success.
2019 will be exciting
What can Pantheon fans look forward to in 2019? After the conclusion of the fourth Pre-Alpha in December 2018, the team is currently working hard on “Project Faerthale”. This is a version of the MMORPG that brings together all systems that have been completed so far and for the first time provides a good insight into the “complete” game.
- All classes are in the game
- The heroes can level up to level 40
- The harvesting system has been implemented
The team is now initially focusing on improving and expanding the development tools:
- The abilities editor will be added
- New tools will lead to an improved perception system, through which players can access quests
- Stability will be improved
- New features will be added
- Bugs will be fixed
- The new lead animator Ross Armstrong is revising the animations in the game
- The art team is working on the graphics in the game
No Beta in Sight
What else is coming? Currently, the developers are focusing on finishing Project Faerthale. This is the largest release for Pantheon so far. Therefore, the team asks for patience. Beyond Project Faerthale, the developers are not looking any further at the moment.
What about a beta? As the Pre-Alpha is now coming to an end, many players are wondering about the next testing phases. The developers have not spoken about that yet. When a beta will start or what the release of the MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will look like is currently still unknown.
