Every game world of an MMORPG also includes a weather system to support the simulation of the world. Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will also offer weather.
However, the world in the MMO is somewhat different from other fantasy worlds, as fragments from other planets frequently fall, which can have devastating effects. The energies of both worlds then merge but cannot stabilize, which can lead to unpredictable atmospheric disturbances.

The atmosphere system will be linked to the player’s perception ability, as it is often not immediately apparent whether such a disturbance is present. The disturbances can occur in large or small areas and have various effects on the living beings within them. For example, one might suddenly grow or shrink, lose the ability to speak, feel fear, be confused, or simply not be oneself anymore. It can therefore be very dangerous to overlook such an atmospheric disturbance and inadvertently stumble into it.
Extreme Weather Conditions
In addition, regular weather exists in the world of the MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, which can be extreme. For instance, someone entering an ice landscape can actually freeze there. In a desert, on the other hand, it is possible to die of thirst.
Every player can adapt to climate zones by increasing their resistances in various areas and thus survive longer there. Overall, there are planned to be six climate zones with five different “hardness levels”.
The 6 “extreme climates” that are planned: Frigid, Scorching, Toxic, Anaerobic, Pressure, and Windshear.
The world of the MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is therefore a very dangerous place. Not only because there are monsters lurking, but also due to the weather, climate, and atmospheric disturbances. Thus, one should always be well prepared when traveling into the wilderness. Pantheon is currently in a pre-alpha phase and is set to be released in 2017.
