Pre-Alpha 4 of the MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is coming to an end, and the expanded team is now working to put all elements together into a complete game.
Pantheon is taking more shape. Soon, the MMORPG will include the complete world with all features included.
Pantheon is finally becoming a real game
What’s new with Pantheon? Currently, the Pre-Alpha 4 of the interesting MMO is ongoing. However, the team is already looking forward to the coming year. Because in a few weeks, after the end of the current phase, the developers want to combine all systems and pack them into a complete world. Then, Pantheon will present itself for the first time as a “real game.”
Under the project name “Project Faerthale,” testers will then see what the developers intend as the gaming experience for the MMORPG. The team states that Pantheon has become much more than just a game. It is meant to be a home for fans of old-school MMORPGs, and “Project Faerthale” will give you an impression of that.
Is this the game as it will be at launch? Even though “Project Faerthale” already shows how Pantheon will look at release, it is still an alpha. This means many systems are still not included, and others are still being revised. Additionally, the content for quests is not yet finished, and optimization work and bug fixes need to be done.
“Project Faerthale” thus shows the minimal basic structure of the game, which will then be built upon. However, it will already be a cohesive game including all previously created features, animations, graphics, and more, not just isolated parts, as has been the case in the Pre-Alpha so far.
Players are already excited
A number of new employees have been hired. Among them especially graphic designers who take care of animations and character models. Soon there will be more job postings. The significantly expanded team can now focus on turning Pantheon from separate parts into a complete game.
How current testers find the MMORPG: On the website of Pantheon, there are some reactions from players who have accompanied Pantheon in the Pre-Alpha so far. Generally, the game is doing well already and awakens for many the feeling they had when they played Everquest for the first time.
Of course, very little content is included yet and there are many bugs, but players understand that it is an alpha. The community is already looking forward to seeing how Pantheon develops in the coming months.
