The new update of Palworld should finally fix bugs that have been annoying players for a long time, but a new feature has been causing tremendous heat in your base since the update.
What has the update changed? The new Palworld update v0.1.5.0 has made changes to the heat and cold system of the game. Since the update, heat sources stack on top of each other, increasing the heat in one place. Specifically, this means that four campfires can make a small room as hot as a volcano.
Other heat sources like fire Pals and smelting furnaces also raise the temperature of the area. This means it can suddenly get quite hot at your home.

What should you pay attention to now? Thanks to the update, you can suddenly have a base that is as hot as a raging volcano. Just two working fire Pals can make it hot when they are cooking food or smelting metal. If you place an iron fire bowl next to it to increase efficiency, you can prepare fireproof clothing right away.
If you do not pay attention to the temperature, you could even die from the damage you receive from your base. On Reddit, user “skewtr” shared a picture from his base, where the thermometer in the game is at its highest level, as hot as in the middle of a volcano. He advises other players to wear appropriate clothing in the forge from now on.
Other players pointed out under the post that fireproof underwear level 2 is sufficient to avoid death. Players could buy or collect these and would then not need to make any changes.
Alternatively, you could also redesign your base so that there are never so many fire Pals in one place to cause you problems.
How do players find the new mechanic? Comments are accumulating under the post from skewtr. Players do not find the new system optimal. Eggs_in_Trying_Times writes on Reddit: “This is damn stupid. I understand stackable heat at crafting sources. However, Pals should not emit heat just because they exist. Never!”
UAHeroyamSlava writes: “I died 5 times in my volcano base trying to get out, hahahahahaha, summoning my only firebird mount did not help at all lmao” (via Reddit).
Some think it is just realistic. Puzzleheaded-Gur-747 writes, for example, on Reddit: “While the heat scale is heavily exaggerated, it logically makes sense to wear heat-resistant clothing when you are in a forge with a fire being itself.”
