A well-known developer has introduced a modification for Palworld that allows the “FSR 3.0” feature to be activated on AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. However, this also comes with a downside, as the update is not available for free.
What is FSR 3.0? FSR is a technology similar to DLSS that calculates a game at a lower resolution and then upscales it. This means that less power is needed to render the target resolution. FSR is especially interesting for older graphics cards, as it allows you to squeeze more performance out of them. Additionally, unlike DLSS, FSR works with competitor graphics cards.

Who is behind the mod? The modder “PureDark” is more or less notorious in the gaming community.
- On one hand, he develops paid mods that allow players to use DLSS or FSR retroactively in games.
- On the other hand, he threatened to manipulate mods with bugs in Starfield, if people did not pay for his work. Among players, it is controversial whether this approach should really be supported.

Whether AMD’s FSR is officially coming to Palworld is unknown
When will there be official FSR support for Palworld? This is still unknown. Currently, Palworld only supports Nvidia’s DLSS technology. However, DLSS does not work with AMD or Intel graphics cards.
