Building a base is one of the central elements of Palworld. A player gets the most out of the building mode and impressed the community on Reddit with their “Anubis Base”.
How you build your base in Palworld is entirely up to you. Some build functionally, while others opt for particularly pretty designs. On Reddit, there are numerous posts from players sharing their creations with the community.
On February 14th, a player showcased their “Anubis Base” on Reddit and impressed the community with it. Many users praise their work, with some noting that this is an entire city, not just a simple base.
“Your pals live better than I do”
What did the player build? In the 4-minute video on Reddit, the user “bakaforever2” shows a tour of their “Anubis Base” in Palworld, which is surrounded by tall stone towers. At the beginning of the video, the player character stands in front of a gigantic Anubis statue. In front of the entrance, there are numerous plants and a fountain.
The player character then walks into an area of the base that resembles a spa with hot springs and cushioned furniture. In the next area, you can see several large round beds and a second, open floor that contains pal beds.
The player has built something in a wooden building that resembles a reception area. The building contains several bathrooms and bedrooms. Outside, a bar is recognizable, including numerous seating groups and even a piano.
Another building resembles a restaurant with the reception area and seating groups. The player then presents various work tools. The arrangement of the tools and desks makes it look like a small company. Apparently, there is also a break room with a couch and a TV, as well as a bathroom.
How does the community react? The post has over 10,000 upvotes and more than 1,000 comments. The top comment with over 1,300 upvotes comes from “Mikedogg1234”. He writes: “I feel inferior.” A user responds: “I literally have a single-story 2×4 house with the basics in an open field.”
Another user responds that they only have a C-shaped structure [as a base] for the bed. And someone replies: “I don’t even have a house or a bed.” In another comment, a user writes: “Your pals live better than I do.”
User “LancerAbhi” notes in a comment: “This is not a base; this is a city.” And “DanFriul” comments: “This is more than amazing. At first, I thought it was a trailer introducing a city in an open-world RPG. I would definitely buy the game.”
