In Palworld, you can trade with black market merchants. Or alternatively, diabolically relieve them of their gold.
In the world of Palworld, there are not only Pals. In addition to hostile NPCs trying to defeat you, against whom some players have already discovered curious tricks, there are also friendly NPCs, for example in the form of merchants. One type of merchant is the so-called black market merchants. Here you can buy and sell various Pals, including some very rare specimens.
That black market merchants can earn gold not only by selling Pals has now been proven by a player on Reddit. He found another method that is both profitable and very, very evil.
Easily defeat black market merchants and collect loot
How does the trick work? As the player demonstrates in a video on Reddit, he first captured the black market merchant using a snare trap. He placed it directly on the black market merchant, so it was triggered immediately, capturing the merchant.
Next, the player built a campfire underneath the suspended black market merchant. This continuously exposes the merchant to fire, dealing ongoing damage, which gradually drains his health points.
To ensure that the player can also get to the merchant’s loot with this method, he deals damage to him with his musket. If he only let the merchant be defeated by the campfire without dealing any damage, he wouldn’t gain access to the loot.
