On Reddit, a player posted a video where he has incredible luck in Palworld : He catches a legendary Pal with just a single sphere – with a catch chance of 4%.
To catch legendary Pals in Palworld, players often need heaps of spheres and numerous attempts.
However, a Reddit user posted a video showing him catching the legendary Pal Frostallion with one hit – despite preparing a total of 75 legendary spheres for his endeavor.

The player seized the right moment for the catch
The Reddit user HaruMistborn posted a video on February 5, 2024, with the description: “At level 45, I crafted 75 legendary spheres to try to catch Frostallion…”
In the video, you can see him flying towards the legendary Pal Frostallion, which is currently sleeping on the ice.

Then the player maneuvers into a suitable position to throw a legendary sphere at the sleeping Pal. Due to the “Back Bonus”, the catch chance was slightly increased, but still only stood at a mere 4%.
And indeed, the level 50 Frostallion was caught. Of the 75 crafted spheres, the player needed only a single one to add the legendary ice Pal to his collection.
How does the community react? The community reacts positively to the video. Some users joke that Frostallion is in for an unpleasant awakening.
Another player named skulledredditor congratulates on the catch and shares his own experience of being able to add the legendary Pal to his collection:
“Congratulations on the success! 4% is all you sometimes need. I’ve seen a handful of streamers catch it with terrible odds, so I went up once a night or so and threw a ball to see if I got lucky. In the end, I had to whittle the thing down to 136 HP and caught it with a Hyper Sphere at 2 %.”
