Completing such a “only-human” run is quite challenging, as catching and using Pals are core mechanics of the game.

How does the gamer manage that? In the comments, the redditor explains his approach:
- He caught a green trader to buy makeshift guns from him.
- He farms treasure chests in difficult areas of the world for gold to buy bullets.
- He primarily grinds berries and cooks them to feed his character.
Meanwhile, the player is at level 15 and, according to his own statements, completes level 13 dungeons almost without problems.
Are there difficulties for a only-human
run? gonnaputmydickinit also addresses this. According to his own statements, he does not have access to many resources.
For example, he cannot obtain iron bars, as this requires a fire Pal. Consequently, he cannot craft many equipment parts and cannot progress beyond a primitive workbench. Weapons also cannot be repaired, and he has to purchase them anew every time.
A super nerfed run – because he is waiting for his wife
Why is the player going through with this? In a comment in the thread, the reddit user explains why he chose such a difficult run in Palworld. He shares that his wife also wants to play Palworld, but only later. She is still waiting for a few patches.

However, he himself probably wanted to start right away and opted for an absolutely nerfed run in which he does not experience many of the core mechanics. This way, he can already get started without having too much of an advantage over his wife when they eventually play together.
