The construction of your base in Palworld can take a lot of time. A player has now proven why you should be careful when demolishing objects.
The construction of your base in Palworld is a fundamental part of the game. You can spend a lot of time building, upgrading, and beautifying your base. During this process, it may also be that you want to remove objects using the demolition mode in Palworld to reposition them elsewhere.
However, you should be careful. As a video on Reddit shows, the removal of a single object can quickly lead to the destruction of a large part of your base.
Player removes an object, turns his base to rubble
What exactly happened to the player? While adjusting his base, the player removed objects that he no longer liked. In doing so, he also removed a stone wall. This stone wall was the last supporting wall for his structure. The removal of this stone wall caused the section of his base above it to collapse.
The result is the impressive sight of an endless amount of stones and wood falling from the sky. You can see it here:
What does the player say about it? The player himself is not surprised by the result that occurred from removing the stone wall. He deliberately removed the stone wall because he wanted to demolish the structure. He writes: I wanted to tear it down and thought it would be fastest if I removed the walls that were holding up what I wanted to get rid of.
What does the community say about it? The community is largely impressed by the sight that has emerged here, as well as the amount of resources. One comment states: That’s a lot of wood and stone!
Another player writes: I mean, it looks kind of cool.
Other players have also already gone through this experience – albeit unintentionally. Another player writes: I did that yesterday, but it destroyed our entire base, and now my friends don’t want to play with me anymore.
Even though the demolition of the base by the player from the linked post was intentional, this can also happen unintentionally. Such a case can be seen in this video on X. In this case, it was not a conscious decision by the player to almost demolish his entire base by destroying a single object.
So be cautious when you are in demolition mode in Palworld and diligently removing objects, so that you do not meet the same fate and, in the worst case, undo several hours of progress with just one click.
