In Palworld, a player captured a moment that leaves other players in the community amazed.
What a throw! The Reddit user Constant_Addition_98 made a post on the platform. In it, he shared a video showing how he apparently accidentally throws a Pal Sphere. Previously, he is said to have been AFK at his base and accidentally pressed the button to throw the sphere upon returning.
The Pal Sphere bounces off twice. Once from the edge of a Pal’s straw bed and a second time from a workbench. To top it off, the Pal Sphere hits the running trader who is currently visiting the Reddit user’s base. With only an 8% catch chance, the user manages the incredible throw.
So that you can also see the unbelievable throw, we have provided you with the Reddit post including the video of the incident here.
A Trader in the Base Has Many Advantages
What does a trader in the base bring? By catching the trader, the player can now use him just like regular Pals in the base. The biggest advantage is that the traveling trader becomes a regular trader. He sells goods to the player and also buys items.
The Reddit user no longer has to travel to a trader but can trade directly in the base. The traveling traders will not run away again once you have captured them.
If the trader has no goods left because you have bought too many items from him, you can use a trick to make sure he has everything in stock again.
What is this trick? To make your trader fully stocked with items again, you just need to store him in your Pal Box. Once you take the trader out of the Pal Box again, all goods will be available once more. This also applies if you have a black market trader instead of a traveling trader.
How can you catch your own trader? To catch a trader, you don’t need to rely on such an adventurous throw like the one from the Reddit user. A normal throw is sufficient. However, you should keep two things in mind. Firstly, you should use a Pal Sphere with as high a level as possible to increase the catch chance. Secondly, you should not attack the trader, as doing so will give you a wanted level.
Perhaps the Reddit user Constant_Addition_98 also encouraged other players to catch Pals with trick shots similar to those known from Call of Duty. You can find an overview of all our Palworld guides here: Palworld Guides: All tips, tricks, and Pals at a glance
