How do you breed Pals? In our guide, we explain how you can breed Pals in Palworld. To do this, you need to meet a few prerequisites and require some items. You can find all the important information directly with us.
Prerequisites for breeding: Before you can start breeding Pals, you need to unlock or craft the following things. If you still lack experience, check out our guide on how to level up quickly:

Unlock and build breeding farm
You need the following for the breeding farm: You must reach Level 19 and then unlock the breeding farm in the technology tree. Now you can place the building. But be careful: The breeding farm requires a lot of space. You need the following resources:
- 100 wood
- 20 stones
- 50 fibers
You can find wood and stones in the wild, and you get fibers by chopping down trees.
Place suitable Pals in the breeding farm
Which Pals must I place? To breed, you need both a male and a female Pal. You must place these in the breeding farm. The symbol for the gender can be found directly above the heads of your Pals, in the team menu, or in your Pal bank at your base.
The breeding farm will also indicate whether you have selected the appropriate Pals. You can find the best Pals for your base, combat, and recommended mounts in our list on MeinMMO. These can also be bred.
Palworld: Make cake and place it in the breeding farm
Making cake: For your Pals to unite and produce an egg, you need to supply the breeding farm with cake. Without cake, your Pals cannot mate. For cake, you need
- 5 flour
- 8 red berries
- 7 milk
- 8 eggs
- 2 honey
For flour, you need wheat, which you can find with Pals or produce yourself. You can then process the wheat into flour at the mill. You unlock the mill at Level 15 in the technology tree.

Supplying breeding farm with cake: When you put cake in the breeding farm, a progress bar fills up. Once you have delivered enough cake, you will receive the message “Love blooms between the two Pals.”
Now you must be patient, and after some time, you will receive a beautiful new egg that you can hatch.
Hatch egg
You need: To hatch the egg, you need an incubator. You can read how to build an incubator in Palworld on MeinMMO as well. You must reach Level 9 in any case, which should not be a problem since you already had to reach Level 19 for the breeding farm.
Hatching egg: Once you have built the incubator, place the egg in the incubator. After that, you must wait for a while. How long you need to wait depends on the egg you placed in the incubator. Simple eggs hatch after just 10 minutes, while for other eggs you may have to wait up to 2 hours. The time is not shortened if you go to sleep and end the day.
